Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that the latest monthly issuance of the Sukuk Al Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 138%. The subscriptions received amounted to BD 68.961 million for a BD 50 million issue, which comes with a maturity of 91 days.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the expected return on this issue, which begins on October 8 and matures on January 7, 2026, is set at 5.02%. This is slightly lower than the 5.10% return of the previous issue dated September 10. The Sukuk Al Salam securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This issuance is identified as No.294 (BH0007DA1424) in the series of short-term Sukuk Al Salam securities.
