CBB Sukuk Al Salam Securities Oversubscribed by 105%

Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that the recent issuance of Sukuk Al Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 105%. The bank received subscriptions totaling BD 52.742 million against an issue size of BD 50 million. This issuance carries a maturity period of 91 days. According to Bahrain News Agency, the expected return on this issue, which starts on June 10 and concludes on September 9, stands at 5.29%. This is a slight decrease compared to the previous issue on May 13, which had an expected return of 5.32%. The Sukuk Al Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This issuance is marked as issue No.302 (BH0008C941H5) in the short-term Sukuk Al Salam series.
