Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to launch this year's National Tree Week, Khalid Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), participated in a tree-planting activity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative supports the national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035. This effort is a part of Bahrain's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
