Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the monthly issue of the short-term Islamic Ijara Murabaha Sukuk has been oversubscribed by 154%. Subscriptions totaling BD 46.303 million were received for the BD 30 million issue, which carries a maturity of 364 days.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the expected return on the issue, which begins on June 29 and matures on June 28, 2027, is 5.34%, compared to 5.29% from the previous issue on June 1. The Ijara Murabaha Sukuk are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is issue 12IM/7 (BH0002404869) of the short-term Ijara Murabaha Sukuk series.
