CBB 12 Month Treasury Bills Issue 124 Oversubscribed by 201%

Manama: This week's BD 100 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 201%. The bills, carrying a maturity of 12 months, are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issue date for the bills is January 16, with a maturity date set for January 15, 2026.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the weighted average rate of interest for this issue is 5.36%, a slight decrease from the 5.42% rate in the previous issue on December 19, 2024. The approximate average price for the current issue was 94.863%, with the lowest accepted price recorded at 94.804%.

This marks issue No. 124 (ISIN BH0005561R91) of Government Treasury Bills. With this latest issuance, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills has reached BD 2.110 billion.
