Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, received Sergei Cheryomin, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, in the presence of Dr. George Zreikat, President of Bahrain-Russian Friendship and Business Association. The meeting reviewed areas of cooperation and means to enhance relations at all levels.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Governor emphasized the importance of learning from advanced experiences and expertise to strengthen avenues of cooperation. He underscored the need to support initiatives that consolidate international partnerships and enhance Bahrain's cultural and economic presence.
The discussions also included a proposal to organize 'Moscow Days in Bahrain,' which aims to further strengthen ties between the two peoples.
