Cabinet amends price list of API direct connection services

A Cabinet session held Sunday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, agreed to amend the price list for direct connection services through open Application Programming Interfaces (APls), by reducing cost for some access categories, provided that the revised price packages are implemented as of the due date. Under the decision, prices should be revisited according to the data that will be collected from the team formed for this purpose in the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship during 2023. As per the new price list, the connection fees for all service access categories were unified at JD500, which previously amounted to JD5, 000 based on the target segment. Earlier, the first category was exempted from the connection fees and targets entrepreneurs, micro-companies and startups that do not need big data. As for service category, which provides transactions ranging from 50,001-150,000 operations, price is reduced to 25 piasters instead of 30 piasters per transaction, while a new category with an unlimited number of transactions has been added for a lump sum of JD100k annually. Data revision service was also added to improving the quality of data available to the beneficiary institution for JD500.
