BTEA Holds Joint Meeting with Tourism Sector Representatives

Manama: The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) organised a joint meeting with several representatives from the private sector, including hotels, shopping centres, and entertainment projects, to discuss BTEA's plans and programmes for the "Bahrain Summer 2025" festival. This meeting is part of BTEA's efforts to develop partnerships between the public and private sectors in executing major events.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Sarah Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, emphasised the important role of the private sector in the success of the tourism programmes and initiatives implemented by the authority. She noted that effective partnership with the private sector is a fundamental pillar in executing the tourism strategy 2022-2026, which aims to diversify the tourism product and increase the sector's contribution to the national economy.
