BREEF Organises Veterinary Checks for HM King’s Endurance Cup Festival

Manama: The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) organised the veterinary checks for the horses participating in His Majesty the King’s Endurance Cup Festival at the Bahrain International Endurance Village. These checks are part of the official preparations for the festival competitions, which are scheduled to run from February 12-14.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the veterinary checks were carried out in a well-organised process, with procedures running smoothly according to approved standards and under the supervision of the relevant committees and veterinarians. This ensured the horses’ health and readiness to compete in the various races.

The Friday programme is expected to see wide participation from riders, with the start of the 120km junior and youth cup. This will be held alongside international qualifying races over 120 and 100km, and local qualifying races over 100km and 40 and 80km. This reflects the strong participation and competition expected across the categories.

BREEF confirmed that it has completed all organisational, technical, and administrative preparations for the festival. This follows a series of coordination meetings and field visits to the Bahrain International Endurance Village facilities to ensure the readiness of the tracks, service areas, and working staff.
