Border Forces announce the coverage of Iraqi borders after installing 750 new thermal cameras


The Border Guard Forces Command announced the coverage of the Iraqi borders after installing 750 new thermal cameras.

The Command stated in a statement that the Border Forces Command continued its approach of relying on modern technologies in monitoring the borders through thermal surveillance cameras, noting that from (200) thermal cameras only in 2022, the number rose to more than (950) thermal cameras this year, as the Border Forces Command expanded the process of relying on modern technologies by installing hundreds of advanced cameras in various sectors of responsibility with neighboring countries to cover more than 90% of the borders with neighboring countries and contribute with a series of border fortifications to controlling the Iraqi borders and preventing infiltration and smuggling operations.
