Blehaq responds to the report of the Central Bank on the expenses of the House of Representatives.

The spokesman for the House of Representatives, “Abdullah Blehaq,” said yesterday, Saturday, that what is being published about the financial expenses of the House of Representatives by the Central Bank of Libya through its periodic reports does not concern the House of Representatives only.

Blehaq added, in a statement posted on his official Facebook page, that the expenses include a number of agencies affiliated with the Council, foremost of which are the General Intelligence, the Audit Bureau in the east and west of the country, the Administrative Control Authority in the east and west, the National Planning Council, and a number of agencies, institutions, and councils affiliated to the House of Representatives.

And “Blehaq” continued, saying: In order for the Libyan citizen to have a correct and undistorted picture of these expenses, the Central Bank of Libya must mention these bodies affiliated with the House of Representatives and not only mention (the House of Representatives and its affiliated bodies) so that the actual goal of these reports is to achieve transparency, as is the title of these reports. It is not distortion or incomplete communication of the truth to the Libyan citizen.
