According to Bahrain News Agency, the celebration will honor 24 founding members who played a pivotal role in establishing the association back in March 2000. The event will also recognize key supporters who have contributed to the association's professional and social initiatives over the years.
Isa Ali Al Shaiji, President of the BJA, expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their unwavering support of national journalism and press freedom. The ceremony will feature official speeches, a documentary highlighting the association's history, and recognition of institutions and companies that have supported its development.
