BIPD Holds Session on Bahrain’s Foreign Policy


Manama: The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) held a session focused on Bahrain’s foreign policy as a part of its ‘National Paths’ programme. This session was presented by Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi, who serves as the Chief of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Tarifi outlined the core principles guiding Bahrain’s foreign policy. These principles include mutual respect, non-interference in the affairs of other nations, peaceful conflict resolution, and the strengthening of regional and international partnerships. He highlighted Bahrain’s active role in supporting joint Arab initiatives and the successful hosting of the Arab Summit.



Al Tarifi also addressed Bahrain’s positions on current regional and international issues, reaffirming the Kingdom’s dedication to peace, stability, and dialogue. The discussion included upcoming diplomatic milestones such as Bahrain’s non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council and its role as host for the next GCC Summit.
