Manama: Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), commended the remarks delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the media, noting that they reflect a firm national vision that reaffirms that the nation stands above all and that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a trust borne by all its citizens.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Rumaihi said that His Majesty’s clear and decisive messages come at a critical stage that requires clarity of positions and a strong sense of national belonging, noting that they reflect the sentiment of the Bahraini people and reaffirm that safeguarding the Kingdom’s security, stability, and development gains is a shared responsibility that does not allow for hesitation or complacency.
He noted that His Majesty’s remarks represent a comprehensive national reference that sets priorities and places all parties before their responsibilities, particularly amid the challenges facing the region. He added that emphasising that the nation is a trust borne by its citizens underscores the importance of strengthening the values of loyalty and belonging and reinforcing social cohesion in confronting any attempt to undermine national unity.
Dr. Al Rumaihi said that recent developments have revealed differing positions, highlighting the importance of national awareness and the need to stand united behind the leadership of His Majesty the King. He stressed that national institutions, particularly educational and awareness bodies, are required to strengthen a culture of responsible citizenship and reinforce genuine belonging based on action rather than claims.
He concluded by noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King and with the support and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, will continue to safeguard its national gains and advance its development process, supported by the unity of its people and the strength of its institutions. He also expressed his wishes for the continued security and stability of Bahrain and its people.
