Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), known as 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', is set to host two consecutive days of its popular public activities this weekend, as the 2025/2026 season in Sakhir gains momentum.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the weekend will kick off on Friday, October 3, with Batelco Fitness on Track. This event offers a fun physical activity that participants can enjoy individually or with family and friends. On Saturday, October 4, BIC will present its thrilling Track Experiences, featuring a series of high-speed racecars for exhilarating experiences as either a driver or passenger.

Batelco Fitness on Track takes place on Friday from 6am to 10am, providing an early start to the weekend. Participants have the option to engage in the activity on foot or by bicycle, allowing them to choose their preferred workout. Runners and walkers will use BIC's 2.550-kilometre Inner Circuit, while cyclists will ride along the 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit, with a dedicated area available for children's cycling.
The participation fee is BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners, with payment required upon booking. Children under 12 can join for free if accompanied by a paying adult. BIC also offers a Batelco Fitness on Track Season Pass, granting access to all events in this series throughout the season, priced at BD15. This pass is ideal for regular participants and offers significant savings, as Batelco Fitness on Track events occur multiple times each month until April 2026. On Saturday, the Track Experiences will elevate the excitement at BIC. This popular offering caters to race fans seeking an adrenaline rush while navigating the renowned Formula 1 circuit. Scheduled from 8am to 3 P.M., participants can choose between driving a Renault Clio Cup or experiencing a Radical SR1 or SR3 race car.
The Clio Cup Experiences provide an introduction to the world of motorsports, with participants driving a Clio Cup sports car equipped with a 1.6-litre Turbocharged engine. The Driving Experience involves following a professional instructor on the track, while the Passenger Experience allows participants to simply enjoy the ride.
Fans opting for the SR1 and SR3 Experiences will find excitement in both options. The Radical SR1 Driving Experience caters to both amateur and expert racers, with its 185bhp engine delivering an unforgettable roar. Participants must complete a Clio Cup Drive to qualify for this activity. The Radical SR3 Passenger Experience offers a thrilling acceleration from zero to 100kph in about 3.4 seconds, alongside BIC's expert instructors.
The Clio Cup Driver Experience costs BD121, while the Passenger Experience is BD27.500. The Radical SR1 Driver Experience is priced at BD132, and the Radical SR3 Passenger Experience costs BD38.500.
