Manama:Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Beyon Group have announced the signing of a new partnership agreement, reinforcing their collaboration that has spanned over two decades. Beyon will continue as a Lead Partner of BIC, further solidifying their longstanding relationship.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed by Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of BIC, and Andrew Kvaalseth, Chief Executive Officer of Beyon Group, during a ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manama. The event, held on the sidelines of Gateway Gulf 2026, was attended by Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beyon Group, along with other officials from both organizations.
The partnership ensures Beyon's continued support of BIC's events, including the Beyon Fan Village, which aligns with the start of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. This event alone attracted over 50,000 visitors in its latest edition. Beyon also remains a key partner in the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain, part of the World Endurance Championship, which will continue to be the season finale in 2027.
Through this agreement, Beyon also supports Batelco Fitness, an event promoting health and fitness at BIC. In addition, the partnership includes the naming rights of one of BIC's main grandstands, located within the Oasis Complex, offering superior views of the circuit.
Andrew Kvaalseth expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting its role in enhancing Bahrain's international profile. He noted that the renewed agreement reflects the alignment and shared goals between the two organizations. Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the contribution of Beyon's technology infrastructure to BIC's ability to host major international events efficiently.
