BIBF offers training courses at Youth City 2030

The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) announced its participation in Youth City 2030, offering training courses for Bahraini youth to enhance their skills, competencies, and creative potential.

Youth City 2030, hosted by the Youth Affairs Ministry in partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), is a highly anticipated month-long event set to unfold at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Zallaq.

The twelfth edition of Youth City will be dedicated to empowering Bahraini youth through comprehensive training, equipping them with essential skills to excel in today’s competitive labour market.

The BIBF will offer a diverse range of courses tailored to different age groups. Participants aged 9 to 14 can take part in the morning sessions, while those aged 15 to 35 can engage in the evening sessions.

The course offerings encompass five comprehensive programmes, each comprising multiple modules carefully crafted to empower youth in various aspects of personal and professional development. Furthermore, the BIBF will be offering Technology Sessions in cooperation with Reboot01.

In addition, the programmes also include Youth Empowerment: Journey to Success and Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity Fundamentals (CSX) in cooperation with ISACA Bahrain Chapter, Future Leaders Programme, and Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) . These programmes are offered throughout the month of August as part of Youth City 2030.

By offering these specialised courses at Youth City 2030, we aim to nurture their talents and ambitions, and in turn, contribute to Bahrain’s socio-economic development,” Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, CEO of BIBF said.

Dr. Al-Shaikh further reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to investing in the potential of Bahraini youth through qualitative initiatives and programmes, enhancing youth capabilities and enhancing competence.
