Beijing: Beijing's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 5.5% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, reaching over 2.5 trillion yuan (approximately USD 350.2 billion) at constant prices, according to data released by the city's statistics authority on Thursday.
According to Bahrain News Agency, citing the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics, the primary sector posted a value-added output of 4.57 billion yuan, an increase of 1.5%.
The secondary sector grew by 4.7% to exceed 335.6 billion yuan, while the tertiary sector saw a 5.6% increase, reaching over 2.16 trillion yuan.
