Manama: The Bahrain Defence Force General Command has announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 92 missiles and 151 unmanned aerial vehicles since the onset of Iranian aggression. This achievement underscores the ongoing efforts to protect the Kingdom of Bahrain from persistent threats.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command expressed pride in the combat readiness and vigilance of its personnel, commending their operational excellence in safeguarding the Kingdom. The performance of these personnel is seen as a reassurance that the skies over Bahrain remain secure.
The General Command has advised the public to stay indoors and only leave their homes when absolutely necessary. It emphasized the importance of exercising caution, avoiding affected sites and suspicious objects, refraining from filming military operations or debris sites, and seeking information only from official sources and government media.
Additionally, the General Command highlighted that the use of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles to target civilian areas and private property violates international humanitarian law and the UN Charter. These attacks are seen as a direct threat to regional peace and security.
