BDF Intercepts 112 Missiles, 186 Drones Amid Iranian Attacks

Manama: Bahrain Defence Force air defence systems have continued to intercept successive waves of Iranian terrorist attacks with sustained effectiveness. Since the commencement of hostilities, BDF air defences have intercepted and destroyed 112 missiles and 186 drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the BDF General Command commended the combat readiness and operational excellence demonstrated by its personnel in defence of the Kingdom, affirming that Bahrain’s skies remain protected. The General Command has urged the public to exercise caution for personal safety by keeping clear of affected sites and suspicious objects, refraining from filming military operations or photographing debris locations, and avoiding the circulation of unverified information. The public is encouraged to rely exclusively on official sources for updates and alerts.

The General Command further stated that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian sites and private property violates international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These attacks pose a threat to regional peace and security.
