Manama: The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) General Command has reported that its air defence systems have been actively intercepting continuous waves of attacks attributed to Iranian aggression. Since the beginning of the hostilities, BDF forces have successfully intercepted and destroyed a total of 106 ballistic missiles and 176 unmanned aerial vehicles targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the BDF General Command has praised the combat readiness and operational capabilities of its personnel during this period. They assured the public that Bahrain's airspace remains secure. The public is advised to remain indoors unless necessary, avoid affected areas, and be cautious of suspicious objects. Additionally, citizens are urged not to film military operations or debris sites and to rely on official sources for information.
The General Command emphasized that the use of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against civilian sites and private properties is a violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These actions pose a significant threat to regional peace and security.
