BDF General Command Reports Destruction of 132 Missiles and 234 Drones Amid Iranian Aggression


Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 132 ballistic missiles and 234 drones since the start of Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the BDF has maintained a vigilant stance against the ongoing hostile actions. The General Command expressed pride in the combat readiness and vigilance of its personnel, commending their effectiveness in safeguarding the Kingdom. The continuous performance of Bahrain’s forces reassures that the Kingdom’s airspace remains protected.



The General Command has called on the public to exercise caution for their safety. Citizens and residents are advised to avoid affected areas, not to film military operations or debris, refrain from spreading unverified information, and rely solely on official government media for updates and advisories.



Furthermore, the General Command highlighted that targeting civilian areas and private property with ballistic missiles and drones violates international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These attacks are considered a direct threat to regional peace and security.
