Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that its air defence systems have successfully intercepted and destroyed 129 ballistic missiles and 215 drones since the start of Iranian aggression targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain. This achievement is attributed to the vigilance and operational readiness of BDF personnel in countering the persistent hostile threats.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command expressed pride in the combat readiness demonstrated by BDF personnel and commended their consistent effectiveness in safeguarding the Kingdom. The performance of Bahrain's forces reinforces confidence in the security of the nation's skies.
The General Command has urged the public to exercise caution for personal safety. Citizens and residents are advised to avoid affected areas and suspicious objects, refrain from filming military operations or debris sites, and rely solely on official government media channels for updates and advisories.
The General Command highlighted that the use of ballistic missiles and drones against civilian areas and private property violates international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These attacks pose a threat to regional peace and security.
