BDF Concludes 12th Foundational Judicial Course for GCC Officers


Manama: The 12th Foundational Judicial Course for GCC officers concluded under the patronage of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, attended the ceremony on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the course was organised by the BDF Military Judiciary and included officers from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain’s military and security agencies, including the BDF, National Guard, Ministry of Interior, and National Intelligence Agency. The Minister of Defence Affairs delivered remarks expressing gratitude to the Commander-in-Chief for his ongoing support and congratulated the participants on their achievements.



The programme reflects the Military Judiciary’s commitment to academic and professional development, aligning with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. This initiative is supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister, and is strengthened by the continued follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief.



Training throughout the course covered various aspects, including judicial enforcement, military prosecution procedures, investigations, forensic evidence, courtroom advocacy, and international humanitarian and human rights law. The ceremony concluded with the Minister of Defence Affairs presenting certificates to the graduates and honouring the top-performing officers.
