Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa (DSAME), along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized the strong historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. He underscored the importance of ongoing cooperation across various sectors, with particular focus on military coordination and the exchange of expertise.
During the visit, Vice Admiral Ahlgren delivered a lecture titled "Analysis of the War in Ukraine and Discussion of Lessons Learned," contributing to the exchange of insights and strategic perspectives between the two nations.
