Chief of Staff of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Lieutenant General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi inspected today a number of places where the “Shield of the Nation 2022” commands drill is being carried out by BDF with the participation of the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior.
The BDF Chief of Staff was informed about the military exercise and listened to a briefing on its goals and stages as well as the weaponry and units participating in it. He said the drill is part of a series of the command exercises aimed at developing the command and control methods and enhancing the combat and administrative readiness.
The military exercise aims to ensure prior coordination and preparation between the military forces and the competent security bodies to ensure rapid response to various threats.
