(Batili) informs (Al-Dabaiba) about the results of his meetings with the various political parties during his last tour

The head of the national unity government, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba”, received the UN envoy to Libya, “Abdullah Batili”, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tripoli, to discuss developments in the political situation in the country.

During the meeting, the UN envoy briefed the prime minister on the results of his meetings with the various political parties during his recent tour, in which he stressed the need to create appropriate conditions for holding elections as soon as possible.

Al-Dabaiba affirmed the support of the efforts of the UN mission in Libya, appreciating the positive role of the UN envoy’s initiatives aimed at resolving the Libyan crisis, and his support for the implementation of elections according to fair and impartial laws.

For his part, Batili conveyed to Al-Dabaiba, during the meeting, the praise of the members of the UN Security Council for the stability of the situation in Libya compared to previous years, following the briefing given by the UN envoy to the council last August.
