Manama: Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has announced its membership in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Ground Handling Partnership Programme (GHP) for 2026, marking a significant step towards aligning with global operational standards. According to Bahrain News Agency, BAS's involvement in the GHP programme signifies its commitment to adopting international best practices in safety, efficiency, and service quality. Zaeem Gama, Chief Commercial Officer of BAS, expressed pride in joining the 2026 Ground Handling Partnership Programme, especially as the aviation sector faces growing demands for efficiency and reliability.
