Bahrain’s Leadership Engages in Key Diplomatic and Security Events

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted several significant events involving the nation's leadership and security initiatives over the past 24 hours. These events include diplomatic meetings, security acknowledgments, and international condemnations. According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King issued Decree (70) of 2025 and expressed gratitude to the Sultan of Oman. Additionally, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met with the CEO of Bahrain Bourse and received the newly appointed ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Royal Highness also attended the 10th anniversary of the Prime Minister's Fellowship Program and was thanked by His Majesty the Sultan of Oman for ongoing efforts. In terms of national security, Bahrain marked Bahrain Police Day with several events. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman and various ministers, including the Interior Minister, celebrated the day which un derscores the dedication to national security and stability, as noted by the Information and Health Ministers. The Transportation Minister commended the Interior Ministry's strategic achievements, and the Southern Governor honoured security agencies for their service. Bahrain also condemned two terrorist attacks: one targeting a joint US-Syrian government patrol near Palmyra, Syria, and another in Sydney, emphasizing the Kingdom's stance against terrorism. Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry organized a cultural tour for Arab ambassadors at the Muharraq Nights Festival, reflecting Bahrain's commitment to cultural diplomacy. On an international front, the Housing Minister led Bahrain's delegation at the Arab Housing Ministers Council, and the Ambassador to Saudi Arabia led the Bahrain delegation at the 11th UN Alliance of Civilisations Global Forum in Riyadh. Additionally, the Industry Minister received the Swiss Ambassador, and the Youth Minister attended the launch of the Youth Talents Festival, showcasing Bah rain's engagement in regional and global initiatives.
