Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted significant local and international activities involving the country’s leadership and ministries over the past 24 hours. The updates emphasize the active role of Bahrain’s leaders in both domestic governance and international relations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King issued two decrees, numbered 88 and 89 of 2024, furthering legislative actions in the kingdom. Additionally, HM King extended congratulations to the US President-Elect and received a message of gratitude from the Thai Monarch. A cable of congratulations was also received from HH Shaikh Abdullah, recognizing the achievements of the Bahrain1 team in drag racing.
In related developments, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued an Edict (54) of 2024 and engaged in meetings with key health officials, including the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and the President of the Bahrain Medical Society. gratulated by HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Meanwhile, HH Khalid bin Hamad issued an edict to appoint an interim board for Tubli Sports Club, marking a pivotal administrative change. On the defense front, HH Staff Commander Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met with the First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff of the United Kingdom, while HH Lieutenant Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman attended a ceremony to honor the Royal Bahraini Naval Force members.
International diplomatic engagements were active, with the Foreign Minister receiving the German Ambassador and holding a phone call with Egypt’s counterpart.
