Bahrain’s Initiatives in Employment and International Relations Highlighted

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today centered their coverage on recent national and international developments. Key stories included His Majesty the King's diplomatic engagements and significant employment opportunities for citizens.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recently departed Egypt, commending the nation's role in supporting Palestinian rights. Following his participation in the Sharm El Sheikh Summit for Peace, the King returned to Bahrain. In a separate event, he received credentials from newly appointed ambassadors to Bahrain and met with the US Central Command Navy Commander and Fifth Fleet Commander.

Additionally, Bahrain has joined Switzerland and Mexico in submitting proposals on electronic arbitral awards to UNCITRAL Working Group II. In sports, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad inspected Isa Sports City's readiness for the 3rd Asian Youth Games.

On the employment front, several organizations have announced job vacancies for Bahraini citizens. The Bahrain International Circuit, Silah, NBB, BisB, Mazad, Masar, BBK, and Gulf Hotels Group have collectively added numerous positions to the National Employment Platform. These initiatives align with ongoing efforts to boost employment opportunities within the kingdom.

Furthermore, in the realm of international relations, Bahrain and the United Kingdom are actively strengthening their collaboration in the fintech sector, as highlighted at the FinTech Forward 2025 event. Meanwhile, the National Bureau for Revenue reported 51 violations during 260 market inspections in the third quarter of 2025.

The Bahraini press also noted the participation of DANAT at the AGDRT 2025 in Mumbai and the involvement of the Transportation Minister in a workshop focused on the National Maritime Strategy. The German President has also received the credentials of the Bahraini Ambassador, signaling continued diplomatic engagement between the two nations. Registration for the 30th edition of the Bahrain Grand Holy Quran Award has also opened, inviting participants across the region.
