Chairman of the Bulgaria’s Supreme Muslim Council, His Eminence Sheikh Vedat Ahmet, expressed delight at participating in Bahrain Dialogue Forum “East and West for Human Coexistence”, which underlines the significance of inter-cultural and religious dialogue.
His Eminence stressed in a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) the importance of the event in promoting peaceful coexistence and cooperation. He noted the forum’s contribution to fostering mutual understanding and resolving conflicts with peaceful means.
HE Vedat Ahmet affirmed that holding the forum in Bahrain confirms the kingdom’s global standing and role in fostering peace across the world. He expressed thanks for the invitation from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa to attend the forum, which is of paramount importance in promoting peace and shunning hatred and religious extremism, given the participation of Al-Azhar Grand Imam, His Eminence Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, and His Holiness Pope Francis.
