Bahrain’s Diplomatic Engagements and Initiatives Highlighted in Daily Newspapers

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad received the Russian Ambassador along with senior officials to discuss bilateral relations. Meanwhile, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister held a series of significant meetings, including with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the Vatican Secretary of State, and the President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic.

During his visit to the Vatican and Italy, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also met with a senior business delegation from Italy. Concurrently, Bahrain's Foreign Minister and Industry Minister engaged with the Italian Deputy Prime Minister to discuss economic collaborations.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting, addressing national affairs and future strategies. The Kingdom of Bahrain also expressed support for the US President's plan to achieve peace in Gaza and the Middle East, reaffirming its commitment to regional stability.

Additionally, a joint statement was issued by the governments of Italy and Bahrain, emphasizing strengthened diplomatic and economic ties. Several agreements were signed during the Crown Prince's official visit to Vatican City State and the Italian Republic, marking a milestone in Bahrain's international relations.

In local developments, the Social Insurance Organization, Information and eGovernment Authority, and the National Cyber Security Centre launched an awareness platform for digital services at Marassi Galleria. Furthermore, the Education Ministry of Bahrain achieved a top global ranking in the 2025 Microsoft Showcase Schools Program, showcasing its commitment to educational excellence.
