Bahrain’s Diplomatic Engagements and Commitment to Women’s Empowerment Highlighted

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. Bahrain has condemned attacks by outlaw groups in Syria, expressing concern over the ongoing conflict. Additionally, the Foreign Minister of Bahrain has been actively engaging in several diplomatic meetings.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Foreign Minister participated in multiple joint ministerial meetings, including those with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Syria, Morocco, and Jordan. These meetings aimed to strengthen regional cooperation and address shared concerns. Furthermore, the Foreign Minister attended a separate GCC ministerial meeting, focusing on regional stability and collaboration.

The Foreign Minister also emphasized Bahrain's dedication to gender equality and the empowerment of women during these engagements. This commitment was echoed by the Shura Chairman, who noted that royal patronage has been instrumental in enhancing the role of Bahraini women in development and on the global stage. The Speaker added that Bahraini women's progress serves as a model of success and development.

The Foreign Minister met with his Tunisian counterpart in Jeddah, furthering bilateral relations. Meanwhile, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced its participation in NATAS 2025 in Singapore, showcasing Bahrain's tourism potential.

Additionally, the Northern Governor held discussions with the US Ambassador, underscoring the importance of international relations for Bahrain.
