Kuwait City: Salah Ali Al Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Kuwait, highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between Bahrain and Kuwait. In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the ambassador said that Kuwait's celebration of the occasion of its 64th National Day and 34th Liberation Day was a national moment of pride in its achievements and global role.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassador extended his congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, the Crown Prince; His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the Prime Minister; and the Kuwaiti people. He wished Kuwait continued security, prosperity, and progress.

The ambassador noted that the people of Bahrain deeply value Kuwait's national celebrations, seeing them as an opportunity to share in the joy and reflect on the strong ties between the two nations. He underscored the continuous growth of bilateral relations at all levels, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH the Amir, who remain committed to further developing cooperation across various domains to serve mutual interests.

He added that the exchange of official visits between the two leaderships reflects close coordination and ongoing consultation on regional and international issues. He cited the state visit of HH the Amir to the Kingdom on February 13 last year as a testament to the depth of relations, noting that Bahrain was among the first countries he visited after assuming office.

The ambassador also highlighted the 11th session of the Bahrain-Kuwait Joint Higher Committee, held in October, where several MoUs and executive programmes were signed. He expressed hope for the next session in the Kingdom to further enhance cooperation and strategic partnerships, supporting the aspirations of both nations.
