Bahrain’s Ambassador to Belgium Submits Credentials to EU Leaders

Brussels: Dr. Mohammed Ali Bahzad, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, presented his credentials as Head of the Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the European Union to Ant³nio Costa, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, at the headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Bahzad conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission. He expressed Bahrain's pride in its longstanding ties and cooperation with the European Union and reaffirmed the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening political and economic partnership in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both sides.

For their part, the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission conveyed their greetings to His Majesty the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. They also affirmed the European Union's commitment to continuing constructive cooperation with Bahrain in support of shared goals aimed at promoting security, peace, stability, and sustainable development regionally and internationally.
