Damascus: Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Syrian Arab Republic, attended the voting process for the Syrian People’s Assembly elections held at the National Library in Damascus.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was also attended by His Excellency Ahmed Al Sharaa, President of Syria, at the invitation of Dr Mohammed Al-Ahmad, Chairman of Syria’s Higher Committee for Elections of the People’s Assembly and Director of Arab Affairs at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
