Bahraini woman wins Ideal Mother Award

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has participated in the Seventh International Festival for the Ideal Mother, which was held in Luxor, Egypt.

The event was organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, the Meshwar Development Foundation and Luxor University.

During the festival, Afaf Mahmood Al-Musawi, the representative of Bahrain, was granted the Ideal Mother Award, in recognition of her efforts and giving.

On the occasion, RHF Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, expressed pride in the success of Afaf Al-Musawi in winning the award, which confirms the kingdom’s support for mothers, and reflects the RHF’s role in providing all forms of care for widows and orphans, as a result of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the efforts of HM the King’s Representatives for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Afaf Al-Musawi extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his fatherly care for the RHF-sponsored families, praising the support of the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the RHF, and the interest of HH Shaikh Nasser in providing all kinds of care for its affiliates.

She asserted that their constant support to all widows and orphans has helped her to achieve success and win the prestigious award.

She also expressed thanks to Dr. Al-Sayed for his constant support for the RHF-sponsored families and keenness to follow up on their affairs.

She also paid tribute to all the RHF employees for their keenness to carry out their duties to the fullest, as reflected in the quality services they deliver.
