Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. HM King returned to the kingdom following a visit to the Sultanate of Oman, where he departed from Salalah. Additionally, HM King extended congratulations to the Moldovan President.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Deputy King engaged in discussions with the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also met with the Commander of the United States Naval Forces Central Command, the Commander of the U.S. Fifth Fleet, and the Commander of the Combined Maritime Force. In other diplomatic engagements, the Deputy Prime Minister met with newly appointed Bahraini ambassadors, while the Defence Affairs Minister held talks with the US Ambassador.
The engagements extended to other dignitaries as well. The Interior Minister received an official from the UK Home Office, and the Foreign Minister met with the Egyptian Ambassador. The Housing Minister had discussions with the Lebanese Char
ge d’Affaires.
In addition to these diplomatic interactions, there were key national initiatives launched. Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, the national cyber drill “Cyber Shield 2025” commenced. HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa attended a National Guard graduation ceremony, showcasing support for the nation’s security forces.
The Justice Ministry introduced an initiative focused on the Prophetic Sunnah at Generation Care Centres, aimed at promoting cultural and religious education. Furthermore, the Social Development Ministry launched a store designed to support productive families, highlighting efforts to enhance social welfare and economic opportunities.
The Shura Council and the Council of Representatives both received delegations from the US Congress, indicating ongoing dialogue and cooperation between Bahrain and the United States.
