Bahraini Leadership Engages in Diplomatic Exchanges and Strategic Initiatives

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today spotlighted several key events over the past 24 hours, highlighting diplomatic exchanges and strategic initiatives led by the nation's leadership.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King of Bahrain exchanged Eid Al Adha congratulations with the Sultan of Oman, the Amir of Kuwait, and the Amir of Qatar. Additionally, His Majesty extended congratulations to the Danish Monarch and received congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim on Bahrain's election to the UN Security Council.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also engaged in diplomatic activities, congratulating His Majesty the King of Denmark and receiving the Ambassador of Egypt to Bahrain. He met with the Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia and was congratulated by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.

In other developments, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa discussed future project development in the Hawar Islands with Bapco Energies. Meanwhile, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad engaged with the Education Minister, Nasser Centre Deputy Chairman, and Nasser Centre CEO, and also met with the US Embassy Military attach©.

Further, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad visited the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifier match and chaired the fourth meeting of the Supreme Organising Committee for the 3rd Asian Youth Games. Additionally, Bahrain and UK parliaments agreed on a new cooperation framework.

The Royal Court Minister, Interior Minister, Information Minister, Works Minister, and Municipalities Minister each received outgoing ambassadors from Palestine and Germany. Finally, under the directives of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Finance Minister launched the Githa Strategy and announced the Food City Project. Bahrain also participated in the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference.
