Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted a series of important events that occurred over the past 24 hours. Central to these was the exchange of Ramadhan greetings between Bahrain's leadership and various Gulf, Arab, and Islamic leaders.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty the King of Bahrain extended Ramadhan greetings to leaders across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other Arab and Islamic nations. In return, His Majesty received congratulatory messages from numerous dignitaries, including His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed, and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah Al Fateh. Additionally, senior Royal Family members and officials expressed their good wishes to His Majesty.
Simultaneously, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also engaged in the exchange of Ramadhan greetings with GCC leaders, Crown Princes, and Prime Ministers. He received similar acknowledgments from the brothers of His Majesty the King, as well as from His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa. The sons of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa also extended their congratulations, along with senior Royal Family members and state officials.
In other news, Bahrain's Embassy in Washington praised former President Trump's leadership in emphasizing diplomacy and stability. Meanwhile, the Interior Minister inaugurated strategic ICT projects at the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA). Additionally, the Fourth Al Fursan Dressage Championship took place under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Noora bint Hamad.
The Arab Group at the United Nations has called for the Security Council to update the General Assembly on agenda issues.
