Manama:On Bahraini Doctors' Day, the Minister of Health praised the significant contributions of Bahraini doctors to the advancement of the healthcare system. Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan highlighted their scientific competence, professional expertise, and humanitarian efforts that enhance the Kingdom of Bahrain's medical field.
According to Ministry of Health - Bahrain, the commendations were part of a virtual meeting organized to celebrate Bahraini Doctors' Day, observed this year on Wednesday, November 4th. The event featured participation from medical professionals and health sector officials to honor the doctors' community service and healthcare development contributions.
During the meeting, Dr. Hassan acknowledged the support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, underscoring their role in empowering national healthcare cadres. She expressed pride in the doctors' achievements across various specialties and their contributions to initiatives like the National Genome Center and Healthy Cities.
Dr. Hassan emphasized the ongoing need to invest in national talent, enhance training, encourage research, and adopt advanced healthcare technologies.
