Bahraini Daily Newspapers Highlight Local Events

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. HM King received the Mauritanian Foreign Minister as well as the Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, who is also the Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued a circular on the Eid Al-Adha holiday and met with the Co-CEO of the Commercial and Investment Bank at JPMorgan Chase. In another significant development, the Interior Minister delivered a keynote speech at the Abu Dhabi Global Summit for Sustainable Security 2026.

In a health-related move, the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) suspended the entry of non-Bahraini travellers from South Sudan, Congo, and Uganda amid an escalating Ebola outbreak.

The International and Interpol Affairs Directorate received an Asian suspect in a drug case, marking an important step in international cooperation against drug trafficking. Additionally, the University of Bahrain (UoB) enhanced its services related to graduation certificate and transcript requests.
