Bahraini Athletes Aim for Positive Outcomes in Asian Youth Games

Manama: Bahrain's national teams continue their participation in the 3rd Asian Youth Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain until October 31, amidst a growing turnout of spectators from various team and individual sports. Today, the Kingdom's teams resume their participation on the fourth day of competition, with several decisive matches on the agenda. The teams are aiming for positive results that reflect the progress of Bahraini sport and their high level of preparation for this continental event.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in Teqball, Bahraini duo Rawan Abdulaziz and Fatima Al Banna will face their Chinese counterparts, Jiang and Qian, in a highly anticipated semi-final match, scheduled for 10:00 am at the Exhibition World Bahrain. In the boys' volleyball competition, Bahrain will be looking to bounce back from two first-round defeats to Pakistan and Mongolia. The team will aim to deliver a strong performance in the 9th-12th place classification match against Kazakhstan, kicking off at 9:30 pm at the Bahrain Volleyball Association Hall, located within the Isa Sports City. Meanwhile, in the girls' volleyball event, the Bahraini team will also face Kazakhstan in a 9th-12th place classification match, set to begin at 9:30 am at the Table Tennis Association Hall.

In kabaddi, Bahrain will conclude its campaign in the Asian Youth Games today with two matches. They will first take on India at 11:00 am, followed by a clash against Bangladesh at 5:00 pm.
