Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain, met with Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting aimed to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, along with several other officials. The primary focus was on reviewing Bahraini-UAE cooperation, especially in the economic and financial sectors, and exploring ways to strengthen their ties further.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa underscored the importance of building on their shared achievements and advancing economic integration for the mutual benefit of both countries and their citizens. He highlighted the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and the UAE, which is based on collaboration and shared interests.
He also acknowledged the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in encouraging the strengthening of ties across multiple domains.
