Bahraini Ambassador Highlights Crown Prince’s Visit to Egypt as Milestone in Bilateral Relations

Cairo: Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt, emphasized the significance of the official visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as a pivotal step in enhancing the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Egypt, and initiating a new phase of strategic cooperation.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Zainal noted that HRH's meetings with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly underscored deep strategic ties and mutual trust, with positive outcomes anticipated across political, economic, investment, and development sectors.

The Bahrain-Egypt Business Forum, held during the visit, opened avenues for economic and trade partnerships, supported joint investment, and resulted in agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The visit also reaffirmed Egypt's vital role in Arab security and regional stability. Both nations shared views on Arab and international issues, with a particular focus on a just solution to the Palestinian cause, protecting civilians, and supporting Gaza's relief and reconstruction efforts.

Ambassador Zainal expressed pride in the Bahrain-Egypt ties under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, President El Sisi, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The forthcoming phase is expected to see expanded cooperation and new strategic partnerships aimed at shared development and prosperity.
