According to Bahrain News Agency, the Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned Iranian missile attacks targeting Bahrain and neighboring countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan. The National Communication Centre reported that the service center of the Fifth Fleet came under missile attack, with multiple missiles detected and successfully intercepted in Bahraini airspace. The Bahraini Air Defence Systems were successful in intercepting a fresh wave of Iranian ballistic missiles.
The Bahrain Defence Force General Command confirmed the successful interception of 45 Iranian missiles and nine drones. The Foreign Minister received calls from Arab and international counterparts, including the US Secretary of State, to discuss the situation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged Bahraini nationals in Iran to depart immediately, and a diplomatic briefing was held for heads and members of missions in Bahrain on national civil protection efforts.
In response to the threat, the Education Ministry announced a temporary shift to remote learning in all educational institutions as a precautionary measure. Both the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council condemned the Iranian missile attacks, affirming Bahrain's right to respond. Government Hospitals reported treating three minor injuries, with a fourth case under observation.
