Bahrain Youth Hostels Association Hosts Diyafa Diplomacy Programme Participants

Manama: The Bahrain Youth Hostels Association welcomed participants of the fifth edition of the 'Diyafa' International Diplomats Programme, an initiative organised by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA). This year's programme saw the participation of 23 diplomats from various countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Saeeda Al Jawder, Chairperson of the Bahrain Youth Hostels Association, emphasized the Association's dedication to fostering youth exchange and promoting awareness through international engagement. She presented the Association's new strategy, which includes joint meetings and visits designed to facilitate the sharing of experiences with international youth delegations. One of the highlighted initiatives was the "Rotels" project, Bahrain's first mobile youth hostel, showcasing innovation in youth tourism, alongside an overseas travel programme aimed at enhancing skills and broadening youth perspectives.

The event also included a workshop where Bahraini youth and diplomats engaged in discussions about Bahrain's support for youth empowerment and the achievements resulting from such efforts. Participants exchanged information about their own countries' initiatives in youth development, underscoring the significance of international cooperation in building a sustainable future.
