Bahrain Volleyball Team Puts Up Strong Performance Despite Loss to Trkiye, Faces Chad Tomorrow

Riyadh: The Kingdom of Bahrain's national volleyball team put on a strong performance despite losing 3-0 to Trkiye at the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the closely contested first two sets ended 25-22 and 34-32, while the third finished 25-17 in Trkiye's favour. Official stats showed Bahrain scored 29 attack points to Trkiye's 42, made fewer errors (8 to 21), and outperformed in serves (65 to 57), proving the score did not reflect their performance.

Bahraini player Mohammed Annan was injured in the second set and left the match. Bahrain will next face Chad on Tuesday, aiming for a win to stay in contention.
