Bahrain-UAE Launch ‘Single Travel Point’ Air Initiative


Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours.



According to Bahrain News Agency, a significant development was highlighted with Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates launching the “Single Travel Point” air initiative. This initiative aims to streamline travel procedures between the two nations, enhancing connectivity and facilitating smoother travel experiences for passengers.



Furthermore, the papers reported on various diplomatic engagements. HM King exchanged Ramadhan greetings with leaders from the GCC, Arab, and Islamic nations and congratulated the President of Gambia. Additionally, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister made a notable visit to the State of Qatar, where he met with the Amir and discussed bilateral relations before returning to Bahrain.



The Sustainable Development Ministry’s participation in the 14th GCC Sustainable Development Working Group meeting was also noted, emphasizing the Kingdom’s commitment to sustainable development goals. Meanwhile, the Justice Ministry announced its Ramadhan 1447 AH programmes, and the Transportation Ministry introduced an improved service for issuing and renewing airworthiness certificates. Since its launch in 2025, the ministry has facilitated 20,401 transactions through its small vessels e-portal.



The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) celebrated its 25th anniversary, marked by the Speaker, who acknowledged its contributions. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali welcomed the Ambassador of Trkiye, furthering diplomatic relations.
